Dear Parents and Guardians of the Denmark-Olar Middle School Community,
It is with great pride and excitement that I write this letter of introduction to you as the newly appointed Professional School Counselor of Denmark-Olar Middle School (DOMS). I am honored to have the opportunity to join a school with such a rich tradition of education and exciting future. I have been dedicated to the field of education for more than eighteen years. I have worked with a variety of students' ranging in age from elementary school through high school and including college. I am excited and eager to bring my skills as an educational leader to the Vikings’ Community and work with you as a partner in education to ensure your child's success.
Along with administration, faculty, and staff, I will work hard to continue the legacy of success established by DOMS through building strong relationships with parents, students and community partners. We will focus on bolstering our pioneering excellence in education program. We will utilize approved established methods to use data to drive instruction and provide consistent implementation of the curriculum in a rigorous manner so that we can continue to increase ALL of the students' achievement.
I am a proud citizen of this wonderful place to work, live, and be around great individuals. Bamberg County has been my home and currently is the home of my family. My family includes my husband McKinley, our two daughters Shontae and Ashley, and our two granddaughters, Brevin and Breona. In addition, I am the proud cat-mom to Liberty Summer.
